This smoothie is packed with foods that promote brain health, such as blueberries and spinach which are full of antioxidants, chia seeds which are a great source of omega-3s, and soy which is full of isoflavones that reduce the risk of cognitive decline.

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1.5 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1.5 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 handful of baby spinach (you won’t even taste it)
  • 1.5 cups of soy milk, depending on the preferred consistency

Method:

  1. Blend these ingredients all together in a high-power blender.
  2. You could add blocks of ice when blending, which makes it more like a slushie.
  3. Serve in a glass or as a smoothie bowl with your favourite toppings.
