This smoothie is packed with foods that promote brain health, such as blueberries and spinach which are full of antioxidants, chia seeds which are a great source of omega-3s, and soy which is full of isoflavones that reduce the risk of cognitive decline.
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 1.5 cups frozen blueberries
- 1.5 tsp chia seeds
- 1 handful of baby spinach (you won’t even taste it)
- 1.5 cups of soy milk, depending on the preferred consistency
Method:
- Blend these ingredients all together in a high-power blender.
- You could add blocks of ice when blending, which makes it more like a slushie.
- Serve in a glass or as a smoothie bowl with your favourite toppings.
