
There’s something quite luxurious about its simplicity, just a few whole-food ingredients transformed into an indulgent Chocolate Avocado Mousse for you to enjoy.
Makes 2 to 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 large avocado
- 3/4 tablespoon of almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1/4 cup melted chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
Garnish Examples:
Nuts (Hazelnuts, Pistachios, Walnuts or Cashews)
Fresh fruit or freeze-dried fruit (Raspberry, Blueberries, Strawberry, Kiwi)
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on low speed until smooth.
- If adding melted chocolate chips, add at the end once other ingredients are combined.
- Scoop out mixture into 2-4 cups, glasses or small bowls. Gently tap and wiggle the dish to even out the mousse.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour, best is over night.
- Before serving, sprinkle on your choice of garnish.
